I know the educational systems differ from country to country. But I would like to know in general (and normally)what is the number of formal education in Canada (or USA) if one has graduated from university with 4 years bachelor degree.
From which year formal education years is counted.
(It should be a two digil number I suppose because it’s not only the university years that counted in formal education years.)

I am a prospective post graduate student of the University of Aberdeen and intends to work and study to pay for my fees.I will like to know how much on the average one can make on an hourly basis.
I have been accepted to the honors college at Miami University of Ohio (with 12,000 in scholarships, and 25,000 in loans), the honors college at Mizzou (and am also waiting to hear from the Conley Scholars program which would guarantee acceptance into medical school without taking the MCAT, financial aid TBA but since I am in-state it would be more reasonable), and Boston College (my first choice, but the cost is certainly an issue, financial aid TBA). I plan on attending medical school after college, so I was wondering if it is worth taking on loans for undergraduate school (i.e. for Boston College). I definitely prefer BC in terms of atmosphere, and it is definitely stronger in academics than the other two, but I am worried about financing it. Do you have any advice in finding any additional funds? Any advice, especially from current students or alumni from any of these schools, is much appreciated!
I am so weary of paying websites to give me a list of scholarships for single moms. I do not want scholarships/ grants to become a teacher, I am not hispanic, black, beaten or homeless. I am just a single mom needing some financial help to go to college. HELP!!!

I have a B.A. in psychology and would like to become a High School Counselor. Is a graduate degree in Educational psychology the way to go. I really want my Masters degree but want to make sure i am headed in the right direction. I do not want to be a school psychologist, i am interested in being a School Counselor.
i know there are plenty to cover future college costs, but I currently have about $7000 in student loans and am now going to community college. the community college fees are mostly being waved, but is there any help i can get for a school i attended in the past?

I’m an 18-year-old Chinese girl, and I came to the U.S. to study in a college in New York State last fall.
My family never approves my plan of studying in the U.S., and they’ve cut off their financial support. I won’t have enough money to even survive this year. Although I got a half-tuition scholarship from my college, I still have to pay a lot.
I can’t afford to continue at my current college and have been applying to transfer. I can only attend schools that offer a full-ride scholarship to me, but such chances are really slim.
Could I find sponsors or outside grants? How? I don’t even know where I’m gonna be this summer. Could I study abroad on a full scholarship?
I would really appreciate your telling me any means that I can continue to stay in the U.S. Thanks a lot!!!
