College Scholarship – Local attorneys sponsor college scholarship
A new scholarship essay contest, “Sober Solutions,” sponsored by Seaman Garson LLC, offers prize money for college-bound seniors. The essay topic is “Motor vehicle crashes remain the number-one cause of death among youth ages 15-20. Discuss the dangers of teen drinking and driving, and outline methods that you, your family, and your community can utilize to make a positive impact and save lives.”
A total of $7,500 will be awarded to six winners, including one grand-prize scholarship of $3,000. The entry deadline is Feb. 4.
